About
About Google Contacts
Google Contacts is the contact management service embedded in Google Workspace, used by millions of businesses to store and organise people data across Gmail, Calendar, Meet, and other Google services. It provides a unified address book for individuals and organisations, with shared directory features for enterprise deployments.

Core Capabilities
Contact creation and management, contact grouping and labelling, shared organisational directories, profile photo management, and cross-app people suggestions across Google Workspace.

Deployment
Google exposes contact data through the People API and the Directory API (for Workspace domains). The Business Connector supports both, covering personal contacts and domain-wide directory profiles.

Data Model
Each contact is a resource with structured fields for names, email addresses, phone numbers, organisations, addresses, relationships, and custom fields. Contacts can be personal or belong to shared directories.

Typical Landscape
Google Contacts typically integrates with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM), ERP platforms, marketing automation tools, customer support systems, and HR platforms for people data synchronisation.

What Lives Under One Roof
What you can do with this connector
All natively built, All sharing OES data model. All accessible from one workspace.
CRM-to-Contacts Synchronisation
New customers and prospects created in Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM flow into Google Contacts automatically. Sales teams always have up-to-date contact details available across Gmail and Calendar.
Unified Customer Master Across Systems
Update a contact record in Google Contacts and the change propagates to your CRM, ERP, and support platform. Addresses, phone numbers, and company affiliations stay consistent everywhere.
Employee Directory Distribution
HR platform changes like new hires, role updates, and departures sync to the Google Workspace directory in real time. Every employee profile reflects current titles, departments, and contact details.
Marketing List Management
Contact groups in Google Contacts map to audience segments in marketing automation tools. Subscribe and unsubscribe events in either system keep contact group membership consistent.
Customer Support Contact Enrichment
When a support ticket arrives in Zendesk or Zoho Desk, contact details are looked up and enriched from Google Contacts, giving agents instant access to company, role, and relationship history.
Onboarding Workflow Automation
A new employee added to your HR platform triggers creation of their Google Workspace directory profile and personal contact record, complete with team assignments and contact group memberships.
