About
About Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Outlook is the email and calendaring hub at the centre of Microsoft 365. With hundreds of millions of users across organisations worldwide, it serves as a primary platform for business communication, scheduling, and contact management, making it a critical integration point in virtually every enterprise landscape.

Core Capabilities
Email messaging, calendar scheduling, contact management, task management, mail folder organisation, category tagging, and inbox rules, all accessible through the Microsoft Graph API.

Deployment
The Business Connector uses the Microsoft Graph API v1.0, which provides stable, production-ready access to Outlook mailbox data including messages, events, contacts, folders, and attachments. Supports delegated and application permissions.

Data Model
Outlook runs as part of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) and in hybrid Exchange deployments. The connector supports both primary mailboxes and shared mailboxes, covering the full range of enterprise mail configurations.

Typical Landscape
Outlook sits at the communication layer of enterprise architecture. It typically integrates with CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics 365), ERP (SAP B1, S/4HANA), helpdesk, and project management tools to route information between systems.

What Lives Under One Roof
What you can do with this connector
All natively built, All sharing OES data model. All accessible from one workspace.
CRM Email Capture & Logging
Incoming and outgoing messages in Outlook are automatically captured and logged against the corresponding contact or opportunity in Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or Zoho CRM, keeping your CRM record complete without manual effort.
Meeting & Event Synchronisation
Calendar events created in Outlook sync to project management, HR, and ERP systems. Customer meeting records in Salesforce or SAP B1 reflect the Outlook calendar entry, including attendees, location, and online meeting links.
Contact Master Data Distribution
Contacts added or updated in Outlook propagate to CRM, ERP, and support platforms. New business partners created in SAP Business One or Dynamics 365 are pushed back to Outlook as contacts, keeping address books consistent across systems.
Order & Invoice Notification Workflows
When a sales order is approved, or an invoice is posted in your ERP, a structured notification email is automatically sent via Outlook, with relevant document links, amounts, and recipient routing handled by the Automation Engine.
Helpdesk Ticket Creation from Email
Emails arriving in monitored Outlook mailboxes trigger ticket creation in Zoho Desk, Zendesk, or ServiceNow. Subject, body, sender, and attachments are mapped to the ticket fields, with no manual triage required.
Shared Mailbox Monitoring & Routing
Messages arriving in shared Outlook mailboxes (orders@, support@, finance@) are monitored and routed to the appropriate downstream system or team, triggering workflows in ERP, CRM, or helpdesk platforms based on sender, subject, or category rules.
